Saint Joseph Medical Center

Saint Joseph Medical Center is located in Tacoma, Washington. The flagship hospital of the Franciscan Health System, the facility boasts a Level II trauma center, a Level III NICU, and a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services. The Family Birth Center includes a new Midwifery Center. The facility includes 374 beds and is designated as a short term acute care facility, providing care to the residents of Tacoma and the surrounding communities.

The median income for a household in the city is much lower than that of neighboring Seattle, making Tacoma a more convenient and affordable option for residents and commuters. Tacoma has warm summers and relatively mild winters.
